Short Summary of Tim Smith's Presentation, 3-09-2012

Tim stated that he would like to pursue a study in Film Rhetoric. Film and photography rhetoric are very similar in that film is really just a bunch of photo's put together and you can use some of the same theories to study film as you can photographs. He used the phrase "Keno eye" a few times in his presentation which refers to the camera lens, seeing and analysis the film from the viewpoint of the camera. One thing he said that I thought was interesting was that rhetoric of film advanced side by side with film as film advanced.
